• What You'll Do NetDocuments is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to help build the next generation of our cloud-based document management platform.
• This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who enjoys building production-grade applications across the full stack while solving complex technical challenges that power secure, scalable web and mobile experiences.
• You'll partner closely with Product, Design, and fellow engineers to deliver high-quality software from concept through production.
• You'll contribute to architectural decisions, build resilient cloud-native applications, and help drive engineering excellence through collaboration, technical leadership, and continuous improvement.

• You will: Design & Build Build and maintain production-grade full stack applications using React, Node.js, TypeScript, and AWS technologies Develop scalable backend services and modern frontend experiences that power secure web and mobile applications Design and implement REST and GraphQL APIs Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code that meets performance, security, and quality standards Build and validate software across multiple environments throughout the development lifecycle System Design & Architecture Design and implement event-driven and service-oriented solutions Contribute to architectural discussions and technical design decisions that improve scalability, reliability, and maintainability Build solutions leveraging AWS services and SQL/NoSQL databases Integrate internal systems with third-party APIs and external services.
• Problem Solving & Ownership Take ownership of features from design through deployment and ongoing support Evaluate technical trade-offs and recommend scalable solutions to complex engineering challenges Document technical designs, workflows, and architectural decisions to improve team alignment Collaboration Partner closely with Product, Design, and Engineering throughout the software development lifecycle Participate in technical design reviews, code reviews, and collaborative problem-solving sessions Share knowledge and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement across the engineering team Continuous Learning & Innovation Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies that improve engineering productivity and product capabilities Explore AI-powered services and third-party integrations to expand platform capabilities Leverage agentic AI tools to increase development efficiency and engineering impact What You'll Need to Be Successful Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience 6+ years of professional software engineering experience building production-grade applications Strong experience with React, Node.js, and TypeScript Experience with C# preferred; Java experience also considered Experience building modern frontend applications and scalable backend services Strong experience designing and implementing REST and GraphQL APIs Experience with event-driven and service-oriented architectures Experience developing cloud-native applications using AWS services and SQL/NoSQL databases Understanding of distributed systems; experience with Kafka or similar event streaming technologies is a plus Experience integrating third-party APIs and external services Experience implementing application monitoring, logging, and observability Strong understanding of software design principles, object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms What Will Make You Stand Out Experience building highly scalable SaaS applications Experience developing cloud-native architectures on AWS Experience with AI-powered services or modern AI development tools Experience building secure enterprise software or working in regulated industries Experience optimizing application performance and reliability in production environments What You'll Love About NetDocuments The People 90% healthcare premiums company covered HSA company contribution 401(k) match at 4% with immediate vesting Flexible PTO (typically 3 to 4 weeks a year) 10 paid holidays Monthly contributions for life activities & wellness Access to LinkedIn Learning with monthly dedicated time to explore Connection, access, and mentorship from exceptional leaders Growing company with opportunities for advancement Authenticity and accountability from leadership Compensation Transparency The compensation range for this position is $140,000 - $155,000 The posted cash compensation includes on-target earnings.
• Individual compensation packages are determined based on factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and geographic location.
