How We Verify Jobs
USA Jobs Today uses a visible quality process so job seekers can understand how listings are reviewed before they appear on the public website.
Last updated: May 13, 2026
Our verification purpose
USA Jobs Today is designed to reduce low-quality job discovery. The platform is not a raw feed dump. Jobs are reviewed through automated checks and admin controls before they become eligible for public display and search engine schema.
USA-only relevance
Jobs must clearly relate to the United States, a U.S. state, a U.S. city, a U.S. federal role, a postal role, or Remote USA-only hiring. Worldwide, global, anywhere, unknown-location, and non-USA roles are rejected or sent for review.
Description quality gate
A published job must include a useful job description with at least 300 real words. The system does not invent salary, benefits, requirements, employer claims, or fake details to pass this rule.
Apply URL and safety checks
Listings are checked for a real application path. Suspicious, broken, missing, deceptive, adult, gambling, MLM, or unsafe links are rejected or held for review. Job seekers should still verify the final employer website before applying.
Duplicate and expired job control
The system checks source IDs, apply URLs, titles, companies, and locations to reduce duplicate listings. Expired jobs are removed from active public display and should not remain eligible for JobPosting schema.
Report and correction process
Users can report suspicious, expired, incorrect, duplicate, or non-USA listings through the Report a Job page or by emailing info@usajobs.today. Reports may lead to correction, review, unpublishing, or source-level action.
Independent platform notice
USA Jobs Today is an independent job discovery platform. We are not affiliated with USAJOBS.gov, the U.S. Office of Personnel Management, USPS, or any U.S. government agency. Job listings may link to third-party employer or government websites. Users must verify details before applying.
