We are looking for an accounting professional with a finance engineer's mindset - someone who owns core accounting operations while using AI and automation to make Finance more accurate, efficient, and scalable.

You’ll identify manual processes, build practical automations, and partner across the organization to improve how work gets done. Automation is the throughline across everything you do.

• Evaluate emerging AI, automation, and Finance technology solutions, recommend improvements, and lead implementation where appropriate • Work cross-functionally with Engineering and other teams to identify automation opportunities, connect systems, and eliminate manual processes across Finance.

• Support budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and ad hoc projects as needed • Support audit readiness by preparing audit schedules, maintaining documentation, coordinating auditor requests, and helping ensure ongoing compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • This is a hands-on, high-ownership role responsible for the month-end close, accounts payable, expenses, reconciliations, and audit readiness.
  • You’ll identify manual processes, build practical automations, and partner across the organization to improve how work gets done.
  • What You'll Do • Own the month-end close, including journal entries, account reconciliations, flux analysis, and supporting schedules • Own accounts payable, employee reimbursements, and corporate card programs, ensuring accurate coding and timely month-end accruals • Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations with clear supporting documentation • Partner with the Controller to continuously improve and automate the month-end close by identifying bottlenecks and designing AI-powered workflows that increase accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
