Job Description

Coinbase is a remote-first, but not remote-only company. Expect to get together quarterly for intense in-person working sessions called “surges. ” learn more about working at Coinbase .

As a Derivative Sales Analyst on the Institutional team, you'll own and grow relationships with Coinbase's top VIP derivatives traders, driving volume across futures, options, and perpetuals.

You'll source new high-value traders from competitor venues, re-engage dormant accounts, and bring structured market and client insights back to Product, Risk, and Marketing to shape Coinbase Advanced trading offerings.

What you'll do: Own and grow relationships with top VIP derivatives traders on Coinbase, driving increased trading volume, deepening engagement, and expanding adoption of advanced trading products.

Maintain an accurate pipeline and forecast for your book, reporting on key KPIs (volume, active traders, winbacks, competitor migration) and documenting client interactions through CRM tooling.

Reactivate previously dormant top traders using data-driven tools and bespoke incentives to restore sustained volume.

• Monitor derivatives market structure, client flows, and competitor offerings to identify upsell opportunities, inform pricing and product feedback, and deliver structured insights to Product, Risk, and Marketing.
• Build and refine AI-powered workflows for pipeline prioritization, client segmentation, and outreach personalization to scale coverage across your book.
• Utilizes generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Required Skills and Experience: 2+ years of sales or business development experience in financial services, trading, or crypto, with a track record of hitting or exceeding revenue and volume targets.
• Demonstrated fluency in derivatives products (futures, options, perps) in traditional finance or crypto markets, evidenced by prior trading desk, brokerage, or exchange experience.
• Data-driven operating style with experience using dashboards, CRMs, and basic analytics to segment books, identify opportunities, and prioritize outreach.
• Background in business, finance, economics, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience working directly with trading clients.

• Demonstrated fluency in derivatives products (futures, options, perps) in traditional finance or crypto markets, evidenced by prior trading desk, brokerage, or exchange experience.
• Total compensation may also include bonus eligibility and benefits (including medical, dental, and vision).
• Annual base salary range (excluding bonus): £90,450 - £100,500 GBP Application Limit: Candidates may submit a maximum of 3 applications within a 6-month period.
