The person in this role will also need to travel into the closest Gainwell office to their location for meetings from time to time.
Manage a team of subrogation professionals to achieve subrogation recoveries in accordance with revenue goals for commercial clients. Ensure that the team is performing in accordance with all productivity, quality, and compliance goals.

- Summary We are seeking a strong Commercial Casualty/Subrogation Manager .
- Your role in our mission Deliver all required services in accordance with new commercial business contracts and work with sales to continue to expand and grow that business.
- Manage a team of subrogation professionals to achieve subrogation recoveries in accordance with revenue goals for commercial clients.
- Manage a departmental budget by managing staffing and other resources and developing innovations, automations, and processes/workflows which allow us to work smarter and meet all client deliverables.
- Ability to perform in a team environment and motivate staff at all levels while handling pressure, delivering on project deadlines, and managing multiple initiatives.
- Any exception requires manager approval prior to employee's Gainwell start date.
Required Skills and Qualifications

- This is a new role heading up a new team and will need to have the experience and ability to create processes and action plans to drive revenue and performance, as well as the ability to work with cross-functional teams to create solutions and resolve issues with commercial clients.
- Must have experience working with large health plans including insurance carriers, self-funded ERISA plans, and Taft-Hartley funds as well as experience with Medicaid MCO and Medicare Advantage plans.
- Your role in our mission Deliver all required services in accordance with new commercial business contracts and work with sales to continue to expand and grow that business.
- What we're looking for Bachelor’s degree in business administration and/or 5 years of proven experience managing a subrogation team.
- Prior experience managing remote teams of 5 or more employees.
- Experience with commercial subrogation including insurance carriers, self-funded ERISA plans, and Taft-Hartley funds as well as experience with Medicaid MCO and Medicare Advantage plans.
- Video cameras must be used during all interviews, as well as during the initial week of orientation if hired.
