This Opportunity WSP is seeking a Lifecycle Project Manager- Power & Energy (Remote) for our Power & Energy Program Management Team in San Francisco, CA.

The successful candidate may work remotely from a mutually acceptable location within the United States, preferred locations include Oregon; Northern California; Southern Idaho, Western Wyoming; and Utah.

This position is accountable for technical execution, schedules (CPM), financial performance, quality, safety, and client satisfaction on projects of moderate size, complexity, and regional scope.

Key Responsibilities

• This Opportunity WSP is seeking a Lifecycle Project Manager- Power & Energy (Remote) for our Power & Energy Program Management Team in San Francisco, CA.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for managing technical, schedules, quality, and financial aspects of Power and Energy Transmission and Distribution lines, Substation, and Communications site projects with a focus on SCADA and Telecomm as well as managing and developing client relationships.
• Responsible for the overall performance of assigned project(s) that are of moderate size/complexity and/or local/regional in scope, and includes oversight for financial, technical, client satisfaction, quality, safety, and schedule.
• Ensures that responsibilities throughout the project lifecycle (proposal phase, project startup and planning, project execution, reporting, and project closeout) are adhered to, delivered, and audited with a level of quality that meets or exceeds acceptable corporate standards for safety, execution, profitability, and operational purpose.
• Provides project management leadership for the development, execution, management, control, and monitoring of Power Delivery projects, including electric transmission, distribution, substation, and communication infrastructure.
• Ensures responsibilities across the full project lifecycle-proposal development, planning and project startup, project execution, reporting, and project closeout-are delivered, governed, and audited in alignment with corporate standards and client expectations.
• This role applies established project management practices to deliver consistent project outcomes while supporting company, regional, and business line objectives within a dynamic utility and Power Delivery environment.
• Your Impact Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout of multiple concurrent transmission line and substation projects of significant size, complexity, and strategic importance.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• You must have the ability to travel to a WSP and/or Client office for periodic face-to-face meetings.
• Perform additional responsibilities as required by business and client needs.
• Who You Are Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Business, or a related field within the Power & Energy market; equivalent combination of education and directly relevant experience may be considered.
• 10+ years of relevant post-education experience, including significant project management responsibility within the Power Delivery, transmission, substation, utility, or related infrastructure industry.
• Demonstrated experience managing medium to large, complex transmission line and/or substation projects for electric utility clients, including investor-owned utilities, cooperatives, municipal utilities, independent power producers, or similar organizations.
• Strong working knowledge of project controls practices, including CPM schedule management, cost forecasting, earned value management, change management, risk management, invoice review, and financial performance tracking.
• Experience developing and maintaining project governance tools and documentation, including project execution plans, risk registers, decision logs, action item trackers, change logs, QA/QC records, and audit-ready project files.
• Experience leading, coordinating, and influencing multidisciplinary teams, including engineering, project controls, procurement, construction, environmental, permitting, subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and client stakeholders.

• Compensation: Expected Salary (all locations): $119,600 - $213,200 WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location.
• WSP USA reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state, and/or federal law.
• Expected Salary (Colorado only): $97,100 - $162,500 WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position within the state of Colorado, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location.
