You’ll also own our reputation on review sites and make sure customer feedback reaches the teams who can act on it.

This is a role for someone who wants to make an impact and act like an owner. You’ll have real room to shape the strategy from the ground up, and you’ll see how your work shows up for the people who run self-care businesses.

Key Responsibilities

• Before launching in 2016, our founders spent months interviewing salon managers and working behind front desks to understand their pain points so we could design a modern, user-friendly platform that meets the unique needs of their business.
• You’ll figure out where our salon, spa, medspa, and wellness customers already gather online, make the case for where we should build a presence, and then run it day to day.
• Additionally, you’ll identify the thought leaders, customer advocates, and creators within Boulevard’s communities and recommend which are worth formalizing as influencer partnerships.
• Partner with Support, Product, Education, and Paid so feedback gets to the right team and gets closed out.
• Experience building a community strategy from an ambiguous starting point: figuring out where an audience lives and making the case for investing there, not just running a platform someone else already chose.
• Experience building moderation and escalation workflows for an online community.
• A track record of working with teams like demand generation, support, product, or customer success to turn community feedback into action.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Boulevard provides the first and only client experience platform for appointment-based, self-care businesses.
• What you’ll need to thrive: 5-7 years of experience in strategy- and execution-heavy community roles.
• Experience building a community strategy from an ambiguous starting point: figuring out where an audience lives and making the case for investing there, not just running a platform someone else already chose.
• Experience managing a brand’s presence and reputation on review sites like G2, Capterra, and Trustpilot.
• Experience building moderation and escalation workflows for an online community.
• A plus: experience launching or managing a branded Reddit presence, experience in beauty, wellness, salon, or spa, or experience monitoring and managing feedback from Facebook groups.
• A degree in marketing, journalism, communications, business, or another relevant field, or equivalent experience (5+ years) How we'll take care of you: At Boulevard, we work hard to structure compensation in a way that balances internal equity with local market competitiveness, and we're happy to share a good-faith estimate of the base salary range for this role.
• Final compensation will vary based on a variety of factors which include but are not limited to applicable experience, location, and final leveling.
